Looking for a Pattern/Rhythmic Gate Pedal?

I'm trying to hunt down my options for a gate pedal that has a tap or digital sync, that will pull off the long strands of rhythmic tremolo pulse. I know about the Zvex Loop Gate but what are my other options?

Bonus points if it has an expression input!

AdrenaLinn III has some great patterns and several tremolo settings.

That gives me a few to check out and also reminded me that I have a Boss GT6B sitting in a closet from forever ago that I believe has some of the slicer functionality... Cheers! Thanks for the input, ya'll!

I think the ZVEX Super Seek Trem is exactly what you're looking for. Midi, tap sync, expresion pedal, adjustable steps, multiple time signatures...

Empress Tremolo has patterns, multiple trem types (tube bias was my fav), and built-in tap tempo. I'd personally opt for a digital multi-effect if you want patterns, tempo, etc. Then you get the slicer effect plus everything else it offers.

After a said and done, I picked up a Timebender for a hundred bucks! I figured it's worth a good go before I drop $300 + on the Zvex, Goatkeeper, or Empress... The Strymon and the AdrennaLinn III look pretty rad if a multi effect fit in this particular point in my chain, but the loop1 I'm working on is all my synth/envelope sounds that get blended with loop2- subtle modulation and dirt.
