Loopmaster switch gone bad??

Sign in to disble this ad
Any of you ever had to deal with this? I bought a used Loopmaster 3 loop (plus Bypass & Tuner) looper & last night one of the buttons started acting as if its got a short in it. I would just replace it or re-solder it but the enclosure appears to be riveted closed. The thing looks brand new so I have a hard time believing the button is actually failing. Maybe a cold solder joint or something. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks, -john

Are you sure it's riveted closed? I've only received screwed enclosures from him.

You can send it to loop-master and they'll repair it.

3PDT switches do fail sometimes. Also, most electronic devices will fail early in their life, if they're going to fail at all.
