Lost the AC Cord to my ampeg SVP-CL Preamp

Sign in to disble this ad
Can someone put my mind at ease....

I do not want to damage this {discontinued} killer Pre-amp

so, what is the correct gauge for a replacement AC Cable to the SVP-CL....

{{ Standard 18 awg???? }}

or does it matter if it's 16 awg ??? (thicker)

Thanks,
Juicyanalog

So long as the plug matches the AC output, you should be fine.

Yep, and thicker, although unnecessary, never hurts anything.

There’s even an adapter I carry that allows one to use a standard extension cord in a pinch.
