So I finally got off my ass and recorded some stuff with the Meatball. I recorded it with a Warwick SSII 5'er. Initially you will hear just the bass, then it will be in up mode for a bit with some minor tweaking between the breaks. Then it's onto down mode, then down mode with slap and then downmode with some fingerstyle. I tried to throw in some different lines to coax some different sounds out of it. Anyway hope you guys enjoy these.

I am going to record some more stuff tonight with the Meatball and HAO Rust Ride which I think sound killer together.

It goes like this:
HAO
Warm, Bright, Normal
HAO With Meatball in up mode
HAO with meatball in down mode
Meatball quack fingerstyle
Meatball quack slap
Playing is simple and crappy at times, but I figured it gives a good idea. Enjoy!

I can't wait to use it as a Wah.

Too bad I've never owned one | I did a lot of research on here and tried quite a few cheaper(less expensive) pedals before shelling out the cash for this one. To me, it's absolutely worth it. I would love to try out the Chunk Systems to see how it compares. So far, it and the original Mutron were the only pedals that i haven't been able to try out. The Lovetone is expensive but it can do just about anything any other Filter can do.

| | | | there are 2 on eBay at the moment...
both in the UK one is at 122GBP and the other is at 300GBP with a 450GBP buy it now...
they've both got over 4 days to run though...
don't think 300 quid is a bad price (that's what they were new) and any less is a bit of a steal...
mind you makes them kind of expensive for Americans due to the exchange rate...
btw I should be recording this evening... Rickenbacker 4003 into meatball with blue ringer into fuzz factory in the loop
will try to post a clip later | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
