Is the low end loss on the Line 6 DL4's Tube Echo normal?

Going though the modes in my Line 6 DL4 I recognized a quite noticeable low end (or volume?) drop on the Tube Echo setting. Even trying to fix that with the Mix knob doesn't really help.

Anyone else discovered that with his one?

Yes it is supposed to lose low end. That's part of the whole tube echo bit, it retains mostly high end, and not very much definition. So that means it's doing it right!
