LS-2 Question

Has anyone successfully used a Boss LS-2 to bring a rack effect from line level to instrument level?

I've done the opposite so it's doable.

I'm pretty sure the output from the MoogLPF when self oscillating, and especially the Freqbox's 'Osc Out' are both line level (suuuuper hot output) and I use the LS-2 to bring their outputs down to instrument level when controlling my board with a MIDI keyboard. I have to bring the volume knobs way down, but there is still a little room left for adjustment, so based on that and JazzAd's experience, I'd say it would do the trick.

Have you thought about using an attenuator?

It is cheaper, simpler, smaller and it doesn't require power supply.

Thanks guys, I think I'll go for it.

I'm going to use it for an Electronix Filter Queen -- I don't want to use an attenuator as I'd have to put both in a bypass loop anyway.

Can anyone suggest a different (cheaper) bypass box that can do this?

for all the features/functions there really is no better deal then the LS-2. I got one off CL for $40.
