Don't own one but did try one in a shop last year. Found it a bit pricey (over 300 $ CAD, if my memory serves me right) but was really impressed. Everything I've read on it since has been positive

I had guitar version. I really liked the tone but its usable range for bass was very limited.

I am curious about the differences between the two. I have a original SWAW and use it for bass and have been happy with it. Yes, I generally set the sensitivity knob between 7 and 9 for most applications, but don't know what I would gain by having the bass version... maybe I'd been setting the sensitivity at noon? But, wouldn't the usable range still be ~ the same? Say, 11-1 (versus 7-9)?

Also, is there anything else that might be different?

I wonder how many of us TBer's actually have and use one of these?

I think they are really quite a nice filter.

I just bought a Mad Professor Bass Auto wah pedal. I really like its sound. It's not the most universal filter, but is a really unique one. I definately love it more than MXR's envelope filter.
