Making an expression pedal expression-er

Sign in to disble this ad
Greetings and salutations to the foot soldiers of the effects forum. I just picked up a used Moog EP-2 Expression pedal for my synth and it doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot. Has anyone changed the pot(s) to give it a bit more of a range when controlling the filter?

Please note that I am new to expression pedals and their terminology so please enlighten me.

Different expression pedals are/aren't compatible with different controllable devices. Rather than changing the pot in the Moog one, you'd be better off checking with the manufacturer of your synth to see which exp. pedal they recommend for their product. If your synth is a Moog, then I'd call Moog and ask for their help.

Good advice. It's not a Moog pedal... I'd rather not say. There's a video on youtube with a guy that has my same pedal, I'm going to try and contact him about which one he is using.
