This always looked like an interesting pedal,
although the youtube clips aren't always very accurate as far as bottom end,

I was curious,
is there much low end loss w this pedal?
is it more lo-fi,like a vintage fuzz?
..or more bass heavy, like a more modern bass effect?

I'm looking for a funky 60's style fuzz,I like the idea of an octave fuzz, but I guess I've got the lo-fi stuff covered,I have a couple of vintage fuzzes,I rarely use them, they're kind of tone suckers.

I want something that sounds like this pedal, but with a nice low end, true bypass.

I have a silicon and it has TONNES of low end. The bass blend knob can actually boost the bass signal above unity, plus the ass(distortion) is plenty loud. That's probably the pedals main fault; it's too loud. But if you have the ability play loud, then this will be your last distortion.

I love it. I highly recommend it. I have 4 other dirt pedals, and none of them cut through like the Assmaster. It is a staple of my board, the clean blend is the key, holds so much bass...YOUR BASS! Sounds unreal with a new set of strings.
