Interesting...

I wonder if it's bass friendly . I'd be interested in checking it out. I love the look of the smaller form pedals and the new designs are really cool .

it's a superfuzz clone, it has three trimpots inside, trims 1 and 2 are the same as on a regular superfuzz clone and trimpot three is a blend of 1 and 2....

I'm really intrigued as well. Where'd you find out about it?

Superfuzz style fuzzes are generally bass friendly (though my definition of "bass friendly" is much broader than most).

I hope grygrx reviews it. I feel like he will. He loves superfuzzes and loved the B:Assmaster, plus it shouldn't be too expensive (I'm guessing around $120 like the Spring Chicken).

Superfuzz sits in a midrange and treble, so it's not so good on bass as it's cuts bottom end.

Am I the only one that don't like such small boxes? You can fit it anywhere but stomping it with big boot isn't easy task.

depends if its friendly in a band situation or not...

TZ-2 = ultimate fail in band setting, it was like turning on a mute switch

Pedals that are pink>Pedals that are not pink

Actuallly, I dont really like really small pedals in 'bantam' boxes. I found that when velcro'd down they tend to move around a bit. They are more of a gimmic than anything else IMO.

Unfortunately, the picture is all I have. It's Malekko's profile picture on facebook.

I'm really interested to find out more, it's a cute little thing.

More lame placeholder pedals. The interesting pedals he said he was making seem pretty much like lies at this point. Poor plaster caster.

I hate to agree, but yeah, I agree.

I still want a Holley Erectus! With the pheonix! Please Josh, dont tell us the beautiful sounding dream machines with dirty names and wicked paint jobs are lost forever!

Josh is building Recession Pedals. Who in unholy **** is buying $300 pedals right now anyhow?! Not me, unless you count deep discounts from the cutout bin.

Just specualtion on my part but now that the company has been built up and has a reputation, pedals such as this, the reverb and the delay can get some cash flow into the company. Hopefully that will lead to development of the other pedals everyone is clamoring for.

I read a post of his on thegearpage that said he was (iirc) releasing 5 new pedals this month, part of the 'Omicron' series, of which I believe the Chicklet and Fuzz are part. Hopefully they're not all simple small pedals!

*Found the post:

Can't write them off completely 'til I see what they are, but as for now I'm uninspired. (that goes for anyone though.. I want larger more tweakable pedals!)

Pretty much, I don't want to have to build it though... and don't need fuzz!

They also made this thing:

According to the company, it's "a pipe for smoking dried plant matter." I really, really want to make one...
