I have to admit that when I was playing guitar I got a hold of two b:assmaster's on separate occasion's and I just couldn't jive with them on guitar. Now I'm finally done with playing guitar, so I picked up a b:assmaster germanium and had Josh tweak the EQ and ordered a b:assmaster silicon and e600d. Bass is where the b:assmaster's really shine. The germanium b:assmaster was good with guitar and ok with bass, now that it was tweaked with the frequency mod, it sounds even better. I'm very happy with my bass overdrive/fuzz tone now. Thanks to Josh for being such a great person to deal with.

huge difference, germanium version playes well with guitar and bass, it is more smoother. the silicon version is more gnarlier and more in your face.

I'm pretty happy with my Wren & Cuff bass fuzz but the three fuzz pedals I'd still like to give a good try are the Woolly Mammoth, Brown Dog and the Assmaster. Judging by grygrx' reviews the double germanium model.

i had 3 woolly's and i could not jive with it, i never tried the brown dog, but the assmaster is a winner. the double germanium sounds sick, my germanium with the frequency mod is sounds close to double germ, but a lot more smoother.

I imagine the the Pink B:assmaster will be with me forever baring some wild fiscal emergency. I'm not a big delay guy, but I'm actively curious as to the next creation that actually gets released from their dark laboratory.

I love my new (to me) B:ASSMASTER! I can't wait to see what is going to be coming from them soon.

how do you want me to fix the title thread?

i got my double germ and that pedal is going to be on my board till i die. it sounds that good.

my e600d was on the chopping block but i figured out that all i had to do was adjust the gain block and regen trim pots, and now it is a keeper. once i get that with the skreddy echo i will be all set on delay's.
