Hi all,
At the advice of Bongo I bought and just received a used MB comressore. The pedal works great when plugged into my Hartke stack. No hum at all.
But when I plug it into my mobile pre usb and try to practice through my computer I get an obnoxious loud hum. I have even tried running an extension cord to another room to ensure the compressore was on a different circuit but still this obnoxious buzz.
I have a True Systems P-Solo preamp (great pre amp by the way) and when I run the compressore through the pre amp and then into my mobile pre the problem goes away.
Why can't i run a 1/4 line directly out of the compressore into the mobile pre without getting this humm?
