Markbass Compressorie = 9 volt?

Anyone know how to mod a Markbass Compressorie pedal to run off a 9 volt battery (or 2)?

I wouldn't want to. One of the great things about the compressore IME, is the extra headroom the 12v allows. The funny power supply can be a drawback, but there is a very good and functional reason for it.

Plus, the compressore has a very large power draw; if batteries could even feed it, they'd not make it long enough to be even marginally useful.
