Markbass Pedalboard options?

Sign in to disble this ad
Looking to run 2 x Mark bass pedals - Compressore and Chorus Flanger - and am looking for a good pedalboard option.
As both pedals are 12v the old standard "Gator" powered boards I use to own only have 9v onboard power supplies.
Gator Cases is the manufacturer of musical instrument and audio visual cases - Pedal Board w/ Carry Bag & Power Supply (GPT-BL-PWR)
Really would love to use a daisy-chain system to run the pedals - anyone have any options?

Note that the MB pedals also need a lot of current. The good news is that the stock power supply each MB comes with has enough juice to run a few of their pedals at once--so your best bet is to Y from one of those supplies to both pedals.

Other advice: cheap pedalboards with built-in power supplies are just toys.

Does anybody else like like this guy? I love this guy!

Seriously I though about doing two separate junior sized pedalboards, one with my mark bass pedals (compressore, distorsorre, super booster) on one and my other wacky indulgences on the other. But I haven't tested this yet soooo I actually would disregard anything I've just said.

The thought was my compressor and my super booster are my favorites. And most likely to be used regardless of the gig, and I could setup the others if the gig called for it.

Never needed the OC-3 or envelope filter at church.... KWIM?

Pitchblack tuner, Markbass Compressore, Chorus/Flanger, and Super Booster (right to left; signal chain order) in a Road Ranger pedal bag from GC, using a power strip from Lowe's to handle all three Markbass power supplies and a OneSpot for the tuner. This is a really tight fit width wise, and also when zipping the bag shut. I'm using foam between the pedals so they don't klank against each other. The Gator G-MultiFX 2411 pedal bag would work better and allow for another pedal or two with a flat piece of plywood covered and/or painted black for the board itself.
