Markbass Super Synth anyone?

Hey TB'ers, I am this close (holding thumb and first finger tips about .040" apart) from pulling the trig on a Super Synth. The problem is that I have been underwhelmed with other octave pedals in the past - slow tracking, no tracking, poor sound quality etc. which has prevented me from keeping one. Anyone have experience with the Super Synth? I have high hopes for this unit. I am a fairly new member of the Markbass family (F500 and Compressore) and could not be more pleased with the products. BTW, anyone looking for a killer compressor should get one of these.

When I was looking into the Super Synth, I found a huge amount of information by using the Search function in this forum. There's quite a few great posters here who wrote up a lot of detailed information and impressions. (There were also a few people who just said that they didn't like it, but gave no detail about what they tried or their set-up. That can get confusing, I know, but the ones giving lots of information helped outweigh all of that.)

Having all that information allowed me to decide whether or not the Super Synth would suit my needs, and I have no doubt that what you find will help you as well.

There's been a whole bunch of threads about the SS in the last few days, check them out. It's a lot more than an octave pedal, and it tracks very well.
