I just ran across this (not my auction):
http://cgi.ebay.com/MARS-BASS-PERFOR...QQcmdZViewItem

There are two audio clips there--the first one sucks IMO but the second one sounds awesome!

Looks pretty cool!

I like both clips. I don't like the third part of clip 1, possibly the most nasal "distortion" I've ever heard.

I've seen other 'MARS' stuff popping up. I had them on the list of 'odd low cost' things to check out.

Those are really cheap for tube pedals, and they look solid too.

I've seen that pic and it's impossible to read the writing near the knobs. Thanks, though!

Seen them and another low cost manufacturer on the eBay and was wondering if anyone has had experience with them.

Behringer has me gun shy of of manufacturers like this.

Uh, huh.

These prices seem really low for what they're offering. If they can do it this cheaply then why do others charge so much?

Well, they have an analog octaver with a filter and an analog and an envelope filter/autowah for $60.00 too.

I just meant, they have a tube distortion with a real tube for $80 and the EBS Valve Drive is $300. I'm sure the Valve Drive sounds better (and is probably better made) but $220 better?

Yeah, the seller has a pedal power for $65.00 too under the Biyang name.

But 1800 sales and 100% feedback.

That does say something, huh?

I'm sure these pedals are made in China, but what isn't anymore?

If they shipped outside the UK, I'd try that 'heated tube' pedal.

Are there any American's that can help me out ?

Have you used any of them? Are they any good? I'm really liking the look of this Bass Performer and the prices can't be beat if they're good.
