around 4:46ish there is a shot that shows him and infront of him is a line 6 pod. any reason why, cause i thought he always went into the amp and got that kick ass tone of his...

hmmm...save for a light distortion on Grand Conjuration, I thought the same - maybe for stuff he just does live or something, but I'm not really sure
