What's the effect that Matt uses on nearly all the solos on the Alex Machacek album 'Improvisation'.

Is it reverb or am I right in thinking that it's delay ?

And what delay, is it a DL4 ?

Which tracks on Improvision are you speaking of? I was just listening to part of that album earlier, and all of his solos that I heard had no effects on them.

I was just driving listening to it. Most of them seemed to me to have something on them.

Track 1 I'm sure has some sort of effect, and track 9 where the solo comes in at about 2:50.

Didn't hear anything on track 9, but there's something at the very end of track 1, although it's subtle. Looks like he's using a DL4 in the vid of it:

Thanks, it must just be me I guess. It sounds like there's a slight delay on it.

And thanks for that link too, I've never seen that. Why don't they release it on DVD ?

It may have just been someone in the studio recording it for himself. TBer Peter Parker may have actually been there for part of it- you may want to ask him.

I'm going to attempt to resist the urge to capitalize on this.

Peter Parker isn't his real name- it's just his TB username.

His real name is Spider-Man.
