I got one Maxon Bass Flanger long time ago. I don't even remember how much I paid for it.
I search all the google result but can't get information.
Hope someone should know this one.
All the current Maxon Bass Flanger has 4 knobs but this with 5.
And, why Maxon Pedals are expensive ? I mean, more than other factory-made brands ?

For older Maxons, it's because they are somewhat collectible. |

Resale value is very hard to understand or explain--sometimes it is irrational. Maxon's upper-tier pedals are at least ten times better than any Boss pedal. |

Aren't they ? | it seems to me that you are under the impression that maxon is comparable to boss. rest assured (IMO at least), it's at least a league above, and that's no disrespect to boss pedals. maxons are worth every penny even brand new. the price in fact explains the pedal. i believe that many uncommon 'boutique' made in japan pedals are overpriced, but this is the real deal.
anyway, the definition of "factory-made" nowadays is vague to say the least. not all great gear are made in some dude's basement and if they were, you'd probably be paying a premium for it.
