Hey guys, I'm loving my cp9+plus compressor limiter. I did a small write up for Maxon USA, and just wanted to see how other users felt about said pedal. Let me know after you read below!

"The Maxon CP9Pro+ is a must have on my pedal board. It’s a simple and effective compressor limiter pedal that adds a punchy, fully rounded tone to my rig. It effectively peaks and levels out the dynamic range of my pick style bass playing. It has a huge of amount of clean headroom that allows me to use it as a clean boost pedal; especially for the times I need to cut through the mix with some extra “oomph.“ The reduction indicator lets me know how to dial in the perfect mix of compression ratio and threshold with out squashing too much of my input signal. It’s built like a tank and can definitely take the abuses of being thrown around before, during, and after a gig. I also use a Power-All to supply it and all of my other pedals with relatively quiet and efficient power. Both are a welcome addition to my pedalboard. "

I love my CP-9. There are warmer comps out there which seem attractive but I find that the pure compression is just dead simple and I can tweak my tone on top of it to get some of those syrupy warmer sounds when I want them, and not when I don't.
