This little comp pedal is one of my all time favorite pieces of bass gear, but its acting up on me. Seems like the sensor is going out, I'll have it all dialed in and look down and it won't be compressing at all. Adjusting the threshold doesn't change it, until I turn the threshold all the way up and hit some loud notes, then it snaps back into compressing and I can go back to normal.

Does this sound fixable? Cleaning contacts etc? Or should I just send it to Maxon?

Cleaning contacts is always a good first step. I'd spray Caig's into the pots and turn the pots round and round a couple dozen times to break up the crud; then I'd spray the contact tabs of the in/out jacks, and insert/remove a plug a couple dozen times.

If that doesn't do it, then I'd call Maxon.
