I haven't heard of anyone having trouble hearing the Adrenalinn before. How are you listening to it, through your amp or through headphones? Also if it's actually low-output, you'd want a booster after it, not before it.

i have a buffer/booster from wobo that i don't know where to use in my chain yet since i got a 8 channel true bypass strip. maybe i can just use that. what about the mxr micro amp? The problem im having isn't the volume of my bass, it's the volume of the effect. Like when it does arpeggiations, its hard to hear that yet my bass is still at a good volume

I have the serrano picoso for a clean boost. It's about as cheap as they come and super transparent if it's kept at about 2 o'clock or below. Above that and it turns into an overdrive. Very subtly overdrive.
