Hi guys, have been looking through the search function for ages now and cant seem to find what im looking for - can anyone point me in the right direction for sound clips of the above pedals?

Also any feedback on your own experience with them would be much appreciated.

Do any of the MXR guitar distortion/fuzz pedals work well on bass?

Cheers

I currently use the MD-2 as a pre-driver for my ODB-3. I picked it because it produces pretty good subhamonics on double stops (not near as well as the Diesel Dawg, though!). I was trying to find a smaller -footprint replacement for the 'Dawg to save board space.

Anyway: I haven't found it to be all that astounding by itself as an OD or distortion - I guess a little better at the distortion than overdrive.

I found that the MD-2 could keep quite the bottom end. I have some samples up here somewhere, under the name "DarkHarted" most likely.
