I tried the ME-50B and GT-6B last week and was so disapoited that I take the route of single pedal. Single will always sound better.

Chorus was one of the only things I liked on the ME-50B, it was good, but my CH-1 sounds sooo much better

I own the ME-50B and would agree that the chorus is OK, as are all the other effects, and just that...nothing more, nothing less.
Nothing on it really gets me excited....
Having said that, I have come to the conclusion that when gigging (where/what ever that may be) VERY few locations will ever allow my best sound to be heard in the FOH mix.
What gets me excited at home has never translated to the same excitement about my sound when playing out.
For this reason, the Boss unit often finds its way to the gig...its easy, effective and fairly cheap (vs the high end pedals that I like better) if damaged.
No, it's not my favorite, but it serves a purpose.
YMMV
