Short of comparing its tone to another, does anyone know of a way I can test the unit to check for a problem?
For the past couple of days I have not been able to get a really dirty/distorted sound out of the distortion on my ME50B pedal. It doesn't matter whether its set on OD, dist, muff etc, the effect just doesn't seem as full as it used to be.
I've done the usual - set all EQ flat and twiddle the knob.
Twiddling settings does shape the effect a little and the pre-programmed patch settings sound as dirty as they ever did...so Im not sure whats going on, if anything. Perhaps my perception?
