I'm too poor for what the ending price will be, which is probably $500. Probably won't stop me from watching the auction though. Now delete this thread so that only I know about it

If your really going to bid on it I'll stand back and watch. Somebody is going to let me borrow his meatball in a week or so anyway.
I'm going to compare it to my Mutron.

I was just joking, although I will bid if the price stays under 5 bills. Awesome that you get to try one though- they're so rare around here. All of the soundclips I've heard sound fantastic though.

I absolutely love mine. It hurt to shell out 5 bills for one, but having it now for a couple months I can say it was worth it. I don't think they are selling them anymore either. Last time I spoke with Vlad (2 months ago) he said he had a few left but there was a line to get one. This is why I had to search high and low to get a used one. It wouldn't surprise me to see the prices go up in the near future.

Lovetone stopped buidling pedals years ago, but then re-issued the Meatball abd Cheese Source, selling them through Dinosaural, Dan the circuit designer for Lovetone's new company. They've now completely sold out of the Meatball, but there are a few Cheese Source 'seconds' (cosmetic damage) pedals left from what I can see on the website - and recently on eBay. Dan has also stopped making the Dinosaural Tube Bender.
