Mf 101 low pass settings

I bought my mf 101 primarily for the low pass on the fly option. Had a great setting where my expression pedal went from complete low cut off smoothly back into full tone. Sadly The settings got moved and I can't get it back to that sweet spot. Has anyone got any recommendations? And other great settings noteworthy too

Patience young padawan.

The way I dug using the Moog was cutoff around 220-250 or so, 4 pole, I think Resonance was anywhere from 11-2 (depended on the bass) and a decent amount of drive so that the sweep had a lot of bite to it.

Those Foogers are designed to be tweaked,...alot. Sounds like it's time to experiment.

I have one and I can't get it dialed in right either. I think I'm going to trade it for one of the new Mu-tron reissues.

I use my Moog LPF to get synthy sounds rather than regular envelope filter sounds.

Here are my settings:
Envelope: around 8
Cutoff Freq: All the way down
Mix: 100% Wet
Resonance: I put it up until it starts to feed back and then back off a bit until it doesn't anymore. About 7.5
2 Pole
Fast
Gain: Pretty high, about 3:00

I've had mine modded with true bypass and a trim pot so I can bring it back down to normal levels.

Love this pedal. Wish I could find something smaller that sounded as good.

Good luck!

In general, 4 pole is more "synthy" than 2 pole, but whatever works for you^^^

^This^. When you do get it right take photos or draw a diagram of your pedal settings
