Micro Pog

So, UPS just arrived, and I am officially a bass-slut.

Round about 3-4 months ago, I had NO pedals, started hangin out here, and now I got 9 (10 with my tuner pedal), and more is to come, I JUST LOVE THIS!

Got the Micro Pog today and have just played around a few hours with it. It's really useful, I put some saturation overdrive in front of it, and a compressor right after it, and started grooving to a beat (on the Akai XR20 that also arrived today).

MAN, this pedal is amazing, no matter if you add a real full octave effect, or just put some octave as a sub or top (or both) for "timbre", it's just fantastically great!!

Will play around later today with some modulation fx in the chain as well, but now I have to start working here!!!

Try swapping the position of the od and the comp and see how that sounds

You know just for kicks

Now...
where it would really become interesting is where you tell us what you actually do with those pedals.
Anyone can "just" buy them... few use them to enhance "THE MUSIC" they use those pedals for.

In my case, bass-playing is a well elaborated hobby, and sound creation goes with that, it's part of the game. I am a keyboard player since 20 years, and for me knowing how to get a range of different sounds fast and be able to get what people want from me, in a hurry, not only music wise, but also soundwise, has always been part of my musical challenge.
