Micro POG problem... HELP!

Sign in to disble this ad
Has anyone had any problems with there Micro POG... using a VooDoo Lab Pedal Power??? I get a loud, "gonna blow your speakers" kinda sound. It is continious (once it starts). It seems to happen at higher volumes???
I have narrowed it down to the Pedal Power by unplugging that and plugging in a Boss PSA (while still keeping the pedal in my chain).

Any thoughts?

"WARNING: Use only the 9.6VDC/200mA AC adapter the Micro POG comes supplied with. Do not use any other AC adapters. Using other AC adapters, even those made
by Electro-Harmonix, could cause harm to the unit, the adapter or you. The Micro POG does not use batteries."

I don't remember a problem powering it with my Pedal Power 2 Plus. Double check your PP dip switches and that you were using a tip negative cable, I suppose. Otherwise...

this isn't true. on another place on their website, they say it does take 9v adapters. i've been running it with a 1-spot with 6 other things hooked up to it for a year now. don't know why they haven't updated that part of the website either, but it led to a lot of confusion for me when buying mine.

GK 1001 & GK 4x10... I dont think this is the problem as it worked fine with the PSA plugged into it

If you flip the manual over it says that it accepts any boss style adapter... makes it kinda confusing???

I checked all that... it is/was not plugged into one of the adjustable voltage plugs and the dip switches have not been switched and work fine with other pedals

I don't have one, so I can't say real world if it works or not. I have had issues with other EH pedals being picky about power supplies, but never with a PP2+. Check the DIP switches, make sure the SAG control isn't active, make sure you have the proper cable. Try it on a different leg of the PP2+. I've had a few pedals act funny on the L6 legs, even with the DIP switch in the normal position.
