Is the Micro POG supposed to be so noisey?

The gtr player in my instrumental trio has a micro POG and it is the noisiest thing when on, there is a bad ringing hum. Power supply is correct and cables are good. We are both pretty picky about our sounds and really like the effect but the noise is unbearable.
We are thinking it may be defective but wanted to poll the TB users.

I have a POG2 but have used a micro-POG before and it was as dead quiet as my POG2 is..... since you checked the cables and power supply maybe the pedal needs to go back to EHX-land

Try it with a battery. If it's still noisy then yeah, back to EHX.
If it's not, you have to find a power supply to keep it happy. EHX pedals are peculiar with this.

My Micro POG is very quiet. No issues with it at all as far as noise goes. I wish it tracked just a BIT better though.

Where in the signal chain is the mPOG? Is it one of those pedals that doesn't like a buffer before it?

Thanx everyone! Good idea but his board is all TBP, he's a hardcore tone snob, in the best of ways.
He's gonna check all the cables and placement so we'll see.

My guitar board is all analog, true-bypass, as well, but my fuzz pedal didn't care that my Barber Launch Pad was TBP. The noise went away as soon as I put the fuzz pedal FIRST, then the Barber Launch Pad clean boost.

It was a startling difference, noise-wise.

Check the mA output on the power supply and make sure that it has enough to match what the mPOG asks for (200 mA I think, but don't quote me haha).

This is correct. 200mA or she will not work properly.
