Mooer Importer

Osiamo.com is the distributor for Mooer pedals as well.
There is a new line of bass effects coming out now:

Has anyone gotten their hands on a sweeper yet? Maybe from these Osiamo guys?

i've had the sweeper for a couple of weeks and although i think it sounds good (better with the fuzz switch on) i just don't have a need for an envelope filter. the size and build are awesome though!

Can anyone comment on the Pitch Box? How does it sound with bass? Low end loss?

I have a Cruncher .... It does take a little low end away .... not extreme but it does.
It sounds great running in a loop with a dry blend though (or a EQ after it) .... I use a LS-2.

I have a RAT clone on my board as well & the Cruncher can sound a lot like the RAT but more mid-rangy.

What are your settings? How has it played with the territory in the 1st 5 frets on the E and the A? Have you tried it with a low B? And what's your grandma's name? ...yea...

I guess DB is trying to say it's not an identical circuit, just a circuit that tries to reproduce the same results.

If I'm right, does that mean somebody somewhere has being doing some reverse-engineering on Mooer pedals ?

EDIT: I just realised DarKBass is a distributor of Mooer pedals ... which makes my reverse engineering speculation irrelevant.

I had one on my board for about three minutes. It tracked ok above the twelth fret on the G, and some higher harmonics, but for the most part just gave a high-pitched atonal pinging along with my original tone...almost like the string was being plucked behind the nut. There's a Youtube demo of the pedal being used on bass where it sounds awful...I figured it was a bad recording. Instead, it turned out to be exactly how it sounded for me.

That said, the guy i sold it to has had some better luck with it.

I will say that the "detune" mode did give a passable chorus sound, though.

All Mooer's pitch-based effects sound horrible to me.
Their distortions seem at least passable.

Has anybody tried out the Trelicopter? That seems cool, but I heard a report that you can hear a clicking sound from the oscillator bleeding through, which would be a deal killer.

And how about the phaser, does it nail that MXR phase 90 sound on bass?

Also, somebody mentioned getting these at $44 each... Mistyped? All I see is $88 everywhere.
