Please keep in mind that most Mooer pedals are voiced for guitar although some are used with bass. The Reverbs, Chorus, Flanger and most modulation effects sound great on bass.

All Mooer pedals feature true bypass.

There are 3 dedicated bass pedals coming out
1st week of Jan.:

Bass Sweeper - envelope filter
Bass 5 band eq
FOG - bass fuzz

Yeah, but apparently it's not a bass drive ... I thought that but apparently it's been recognised by guitarists as a clone of one of their favourites.

I've heard of 50% off discount codes - "mooer132" at marcmart.com and "***" at wtfaccessories.com

Thanks alec.

I'm looking at the W T F website (great name!)
How do Mooer/Moen/Joyo compare? Are they all cheap but good? Anybody try the tremolo or phaser from any of them?

I just ordered a 4 pack from w t f.
Green Mile, Triangle Buff, Blade and Black Secret, all for $165 shipped to Oz!
I've tried the Buff on bass and I know it sounds great. Heard good things about the Green Mile. Curious about the Blade and Black Secret.

I've ordered plenty off eBay direct from China and never had a problem, so I'm not worried. And if it all goes to sh!t and paypal doesn't save me, $165 isn't the end of the world.

People make international orders all thing time, why should ordering from China be any different?

That's a 10 4, 247

They sent another email to say they'd shipped the order, and it's coming from Hong Kong, so it shouldn't take too long hopefully.

Interestingly, 2 pedals on the Mooer site are now marked "Limited Edition" (Blue Comp and Ultradrive), I suppose that means they are stopping (or have stopped) production.

Discontinued Pedals...

Mooer is having problems with productions has the chips for those 2 particular pedals are no longer available. Those pedals will be discontinued until those parts are once again available.

the pure octave

well, I took one for the team and ordered a Mooer Pure Octave from Amazon. $88 shipped. Will be returning as soon as I can get to the post office, it's completely unusable for octave up IMO. Can't imagine it being any better on guitar, but I'll let someone else try that...

For reference, I've found most pitch shifter devices sound like crap for octave up; exceptions that I've tried are the Line 6M9 (so I assume the M5 is also good), the Eventide Pitch Factor, and the original V-Bass. Yeah, all of these cost way more than the Mooer, but they also do many more functions. I was hoping that Mooer had figured out how to do the simple octave up / down at low cost and more importantly in a small box / using 9V power supply.

Here's my review from Amazon:
I was tempted to give two stars because the form factor and overall quality feel - nice switches, looks / feels very well made. But, the sound quality is so bad that I could not do it. I bought this for doing octave up pitch shifting, as I've got the octave down (traditional analog octaver) covered. I was playing single note lines, not expecting it to be able to track multiple notes.

The pitch shifted sound is horribly out of tune and has a wavering, warbly tonality. No way that I could use it for lead lines where I hoped for a stable, clear octave-up copy of my original sound. So, I tried mixing in just a small amount of pitch shifted sound with clean hoping that I could use it to just add a bit of brightness, but the sound is so out of tune that even in really small doses it was driving me crazy. I can't believe that Mooer put this pedal on the market, definitely does not give me confidence in their other products.

I can't say your review surprises me, based on the demo videos. Well, except in one thing, you don't mention how it sounds with octave down. I know you weren't interested in that function yourself, but did you try it out ?

I was wondering the same thing about how the Pure Octave sounds an octave down. That's the only function I would plan on using it for.

The pure octave demo sounded like crap to me, in all modes. It sounds like a POG, without the excellent tracking. If the demo sounds that bad, it's not going to be good at home.
And even the POG octave down setting doesn't sound all that great anyway.
