So I love the my Moogerfoogers. I'm totally addicted. A little ways back I wanted to do some very precise CV changes involving pitch with my Freqbox and my EP-2. The EP-2 was supper glitchy and at the toe end of travel the wiper on the pot would disconnect and change the value. I thought I could modify an EB-VPjr which turned out great....EXCEPT that the rubber pad on the heel is squishy which makes the cv change when you step on it ( not normally the biggest issue but I'm dealing with pitch ).

I guess my questions are,

1. Anyone using the VPjr as a cv pedal successfully? Got any tips?

2. Will the Moog MP-201 allow you to apply weight to the treadle without changing cv values at the far ends of travel (toe full down/toe full up)

errrr....yeah

To answer your questions:
1.
I've used the VPjr with the Eventide PitchFactor but not as CV. I found it to be too "steppy" in its response so I've been using host automation via the USB port. I think the steppiness was the fault of the Eventide not the pedal. Mine's collecting dust as of right now. You might want to use the Vp for non-pitch-related parameters if it's working well otherwise. You could also try to replace the rubber pad with something solid.

2.
The Mp201 sits solidly at the end of it's range above and below. It even comes with a little L-shaped device to adjust the amount of physical resistance the pedal has when you move it with your foot.
