Moog EP-2 not functioning correctly with Eventide Space

I did a search regarding the use of the Moog EP-2 expression pedal being used with other Eventide stomp boxes and cannot find any similar issues. I wanted to double check to see if anyone else was having similar issues just to rule out any obvious over-sites or sheer stupidity on my part (believe me, it wouldn't be a first), before I harass their support or run off and buy another expression pedal.

My EP-2 works fine with my SA Bass Envelope Filter Pro. But when I plug it into my Space, things start to get weird. I have to set the sensitivity knob to max on the EP-2 before the Space will recognize any pedal movement and start changing parameters. There is no in between, it's cranked or it's not working at all. Unfortunately at that point though, it will go through the entire range of parameters (0-100, etc.) within the first one-thirds of the total motion of the pedal, making it nearly impossible to control with any semblance of accuracy.

Has anyone else had any expression pedal problems with their Eventide units?

I've heard about this happening before with Eventide pedals. I'm pretty sure that a Ernie Ball Volume pedal (with expression mod) is what Eventide recommends. I'd look on their site. When I had the Pitchfactor, I read a lot about the expression pedal use, but never tried it. Seemed like a pain in the butt to me really. They make great pedals though.
