Question Moog Taurus Pedal Alternative

Sign in to disble this ad
does anybody know of an alternative and vastly cheaper product similar to a Moog Taurus Pedal. (a foot operated synth bass keyboard)

What am looking for:
a foot operated keyboard that plays a distoted/synth sound.
probably best watching a live version of The Police - Don’t Stand So Close to me from 2007 to get the idea of what am looking for

pedal controller + synth brain.

if i'm not mistaken there's a guy in the classifieds right now who is selling a fatar 13 note controller.

i have an 18 note elka controller that is pretty cool, and there's an akai synth that has an integrated vocoder that i've been thinking would work great for this kind of purpose too.

Yeah thanks for the boost John, I am the one selling them.

There are plenty of free vst synths including one that I list in that thread that is very good copy of the real thing, I've owned the original Taurus pedals and you would be hard pressed to tell the difference. You can trigger any midi device with them.
There are also plenty of other controllers too.
Good luck,
Dirk
