Unhappy Moogerfooger MF-102---What just happened?

Went to play through my Moog ring mod and realized it wasn't plugged in to power. I plugged the 9v adapter into the pedal and got a LOUD pop. It sounded exactly like when I fried a chip in my first amp. But everything 'seems' to be working fine. No unusual speaker clipping, amp works to full potential, pedal seems fully functional still. Anything I should worry about?

I think it should be fine... The pedal for sure. I wouldn't recommend doing it again for your speaker's sake, though.

Thought so. Lesson learned: turn it off before plugging in.
