Moogerfooger octaver... would it be worth it?

So lately I've been reading up on/learning about various synth component, pedals, etc., and of course, I've come across the Moogerfoogers. Actually, I came across them a good while ago, but I've really been looking into them (and others) more lately. Anyway, I thought (as have many others, I'm sure) how nice would it be to have a synth board built around these? Of most interest to me are the low pass filter, phaser, and FreqBox... and maybe the Bass MuRF for fun. Anyway, those would make for quite the bass synth, I'd think... except for no octave pedal. So what do you guys think? Would that be something cool/worth having? Or is it more of a "there are plenty of octave pedals already" thing? Of course, there are plenty of good ones out there, but it'd just seem like such a shame to have a board full of black and walnut Moog synthiness and then the random POG or M-88...? But then maybe it's just an OCD thing...

i say why not, it is good buisness for them. I have never wanted an octaver myself though so I would not be one of their costumers but I'm sure they would get buisness

Awesome!

I wonder what controls they would put on it though?

Yeah, when I posted this I was wondering if an octave pedal would be too "simple" to fit into the Moogerfooger line...

If they made an octave, it'd probably come out something like a POG crossed with a Nocto Loco....

If that's the case, I'd definitely prefer it be more like the Mondo, with layering of octaves and separate controls for each... Though I'd think one and two octaves below and one (and possibly two) octave above would be sufficient and nice.

I'd be down if it sounds good enough. If I ever have money I want an old Mutron Octave Divider. There are a ton of octave pedals, but the good ones are sought after for a reason.

Cool. No one so far has said flat out no to the idea.

Honestly I hope they make a classic style step sequencer first - this could be used with their synths (their star product) as well as with the CV-input-equipped moogerfoogers.

I mean the bass murf is super cool - but a dedicated sequencer could be used with any of the moogerfooger pedals and give much better control (and reproducibility) of settings - or even with "patch memory" and hybrid elements like their current synths.

THAT would be cool.

Yes it would. For me the murf isn't that interesting because you can't [at least from my knowledge] program your own sequences.

Can I ask why you like the Foxrox and Mutron octaves specifically?
