But it's obviously going to be more expensive than the Whammy, and it could have been like a POG/HOG deal. POG/Whammy is the downspec'd version of the HOG/Harmony pedal.
Weren't they going to discontinue the Whammy anyway?

I'm not sure, this "HarmonyMan" looks feature laden but only seems to be able to do a few things at a time.

Since bass part, for the most part, are single notes this pedal might not be able to "learn" the harmonic nature of the song so when it did do the harmony it may be a guess as to how accurate the harmony would be.
It'd be interesting to try out nonetheless.
