More Useful-Opinion OD or Fuzz

In your opinion do find overdrive or fuzz pedals to be more useful. I currently have one of each, but I am planning on selling my fuzz off. I really just use them for jamming with friends. Maybe if I recorded and needed the fuzz sound then I could see keeping it. Overdrive just seems more versatile.

That's really only a question you can answer. Depends on context, musical style, the rest of your gear and especially WHICH OD and fuzz we're talking about.

Obviously fuzz is a much more prominent effect, but again that's an individual decision as to whether that's a plus or a minus.

For what I do a gated fuzz is a necessity while an overdrive is a "really like to have" type deal.
