Morley differences

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello, I want to know if there is any difference between the Morley Power wah fuzz and the Power wah boost, because I have a Morley Dual bass wah, and I want to modify the pedal.
I like the Cliff Burton's wah tone, but I don't know what pedal he used.
Wikipedia says that in the early days he used th Pwf, and in the others albums the PWB.
Do You think that if I order the pedal to a luthier it will sound like I want ?
Sorry for my bad English.

Yes, they are very different. The PWF has a Fuzz (distortion) built into it. The PWB has a Boost (increases your volume and adds some harmonic content) built into it. I have and LOVE a PWB, but I HAD TO mod it with true bypass because the standard bypassed signal was so bad. It is my understanding that Cliff used the PWB and a Big Muff (no one seems clear which version).

Your English wasn't bad, but I'm not sure I understood your last question. Are you asking if someone could modify your new Morley to sound like Cliff's Morley? If so, I'd say "No."
