Morley Power Wah Volume Modification ????

Sign in to disble this ad
hello,

I have a Morley power wah volume pedal. This thing has no range. It's either on or off. Is there something I can replace in the pedal to make it a smooth and last the entire movement of the pedal?

Even if only the volume side of this works I would be happy.

Thank you,
Johnny Rhum

I have an old Tel Ray Morley of wich the 'curtain' over the light thingie (don't know what it's called in English, but I mean the part that's a potentiometer in wahs from other brands) is not 100% anymore and this results in a sweep or wah that is somewhat uneven. In your case it could well be the curtain hanging loose or something like that.

If all the above makes no sense whatsoever, open the Morley up and fiddle with it, you'll see what I mean. I hope.

Good luck, Bob.

Bob is right!..I had same problem. There is a piece of cloth thingy, with a mirrored (sp?) coating on it that reflects the light of your power bulb to activate your wah and or volume. It was placed at the base end with a piece of tape.....once that gets old and glue gets brittle it will start to come off. Just put in some new tape and should be good to go!
