Morley wah wiring issue

Sign in to disble this ad
hey, since i've had a bit of free time recently, i've started doing some work on the $5 morley wah i picked up out of a guitar center junk box.

So far it's gotten a new input capacitor, rewired battery leads, tweeked the internal LED's position, and a new paintjob to top it all off.

However, i've been looking into doing the LED intensity boost switch i found here - Morley Wah user unite, Mods inside!! Step by step DIY

It's a very nice walk through, plenty of nice, in-focus pictures. My problem arises that the switch wiring he presents is for a on/off/on DPDT. my electronics knowledge is starting to come around, but i cant for the life of me figure out how to wire it for the on/off toggle DPDT that i have.

the way i'm trying to get this to work is the same as he describes, but minus the trim pot. "off" position would run already existing 4.7k resistor into the LED, while th "on" position would parallel a 2.2k resistor on top of that to get a boost through brighter LED.
