| Out of those, the only ones I haven't tried are the Moog, and Emma, so I can't really comment on them, although the Emma is meant to be quite subtle.
The EBS is good, but won't get you ALL the sounds a Mu-Tron can, but it's my second favourite out of the list.
The closest to the Mu-Tron IMO, is the maxon AF-9. It has all the same controls, and uses similar circuitry and components, plus it is small, 9v, and has a status LED. There are 3 advantages over a Mu-Tron right there, without even mentioning price!
IMO, if you're looking for the Mu-Tron sound, get a Mu-Tron. But if you can settle for something close, get the Maxon.
