well....how do i start off.... have you ever heard a pedal and you're like it's that pedal for sure! not like hey it's a flanger or chorus , blah , blah .....but the exact pedal. for instance, if i listen to a record or a live band i can usually spot out a ehx pog if it's being used (duh!). for me, that pedal has one of the most recognizable tones of all time. another would be the moog ring mod. what other pedals can you spot out easily? |

My point was that I think Tomhanzo didn't get whoatherechunk's point about not just "this type of effect" but specific models of effects. He wasn't looking for "fuzz," he was looking for "Big Muff pi." |

I DO think I could recognize the DMM clarity as opposed to the murky AD-9 sound, even in a mix. The difference would be that I'd HEAR the DMM. |
