mounting a blowtorch to a pedaltrain

Sign in to disble this ad
this may be a silly question, but here it goes...

my new mxr bass blowtorch just arrived today (sounds awesome by the way) and i'm a little unsure of how to velcro the thing on there.

i was thinking i'd just pull the rubber feet off but it isn't that simple the battery covers on the bottom stick out a bit. would it be safe just to put the velcro on the battery covers themselves? (their position seems like it would be stable enough)

how do you guys have yours mounted to your boards?

Hmm... that'll keep the punters away from your board!

I removed the feet, ran strips of industrial strength velcro along the outer edges of the pedal, nothing on the battery covers and it works just fine.

Haha brilliant timing! I was day dreaming about putting a foot switch on a board that would trigger flame throwers on the front of the board.

I'm really keen to put some foot triggered disco lights under the board I will eventually get around to creating

Now that the original post has been answered, I say we still continue the posts re: stompbox + foot = 6 foot flames from front of board.
