Was trolling on youtube and found this: YouTube - Catalinbread SFT: Quadrant #3, Motown Bass Tone
It must be brand new because they don't seem to have it on their website, but it sounds pretty damn cool on the video!
Anybody know more about it, tried it?

The reason it can get the different tones is because its based of an old Ampeg tone stack. Warm or dirty it can do. Supposedly. |

But for what it's worth, I had much better luck getting a MoTown sound with both the OLC Flipster and the VT Bass, though I actually prefered the Flipster for that sort of tone.
Actually, the closest I ever got to a Jamerson type tone was using a P-bass into Creation Audio Labs Holy Fire and Retrospec Squeeze Box, but for a one pedal solution I'd go Flipster or VT Bass before SFT. As always, YMMV. |

I did a search, thanks though. | The pedal has 4 knobs... did you stop to consider they might be used to dial in different sounds? |

Throw some flats or dead rounds on your bass and you'll sound like Jamerson in no time... Well... Aside from the playing
