Just wondering is anyone has found a pedal to use with their muff that makes something really cool, sweet, and usable . |

You can add an EQ pedal to shape the tone, or a blender pedal to mix in some of your dry uneffected bass, those are also popular options. Perhaps the best thing to combine with a muff is a 4x15 speaker cab. |

Envelope Filter -> Muff is pretty entertaining. You could also try Octaver -> Muff or Muff-> Octaver. |

Muff+Phaser (better before Phaser though)
I'm sure a muff will sound good with most effects. hell, I put my Fulltone Bassdrive infront of my Muff and it was just RIDICULOUS.

Or if it is a fuzz it did not sound like a thick fuzz like the Muffs. I was thinking of putting a Blowtorch in front of my LBM. Just to see if I could produce something, as you say, "RIDICULOUS".

I'm sure it will produce some sort of RIDICULOUS.
The Blowtorch reminds me of the Muff quite a bit, actually (going by clips I believe Mysticboo posted). I once had two Muff's (different settings) and ran them both at the same time a couple of times and I'm not een sure if I could describe the sound as good or bad...

You get the weirdest sound ever, I did use it at the start of one fo my old recordings, I found that you could get a thunderous rumbling sound out of by just vibrating the E string.
My current favourite is:
Muff -> White Finger ->Tube OD
This thing just sings, the mids are amazing, they don't cut the mix they slash through it. |

| | | | Muff or any dirt type pedal can useful with alot of differnt effects. Most popular is probably either chorus, octaver/pitch shifter, or delay. |
