muff + boss synth??

anyone stuck a muff with a synth pedal? i really want a sweet synth sound, but the boss synth doesnt seem to be quite what i'm looking for..wondered if coupled with a muff i could get more the all out keys sound i'm looking for.

Haven't tried the Boss Synth, but I've used the Electro Harmonix Bass Micro Synth, and it's very versatile and great sounding. Lots of folks around here seem to enjoy it.
IMO it sound's more like 70's moog synths than 80's keyboard synths. I think, for 80s keyboard synth sound you should check out AKAI Deep Impact or Korg G5 (They are discontinued though...)
