Muff problem

well i own a Boss ODB-3 bass overdrive pedal...and lets be honest its a boring pedal..

anyway...i wanna sell and get myself a big muff the problem is
idk what kind of big muff should i get...the bass big muff pi or the russian big muff pi...i play a spector euro 4lx if it helps

Oddly enough, I own both the ODB-3 and the EHX BBM... I use the ODB-3 daily, the BBM hardly ever. Don't underestimate the ODB-3.

That said, The search function and the FX clips section will yield you numerous threads, clips and discussions on this topic. Actually, muffs are pretty much THE most discussed thing here. Good luck.

Be aware that the muffs are a different beast than the Boss you own. There's a mid-scoop on it which may leave you wanting a blender. If you're playing in band w/ heavy distortion/fuzz, you may get lost in the mix a bit...
The BBM has some blendability built in, so for versatility's sake, you may want to go w/ that over the Black Russian version if you do indeed get a muff.
Keep both pedals and A/B them. Keep your receipt.
