multi effect problem

Sign in to disble this ad
hi guys, i have a zoom b1x multi effect (i know its a cheapie) and recently its been giving off a tiiiiiny bit of a distortion wen i play a note on any patch. i tried to see if it was my amps speaker being busted so i tried it out without the pedal and the sound was rly smooth. i also tried all my other pedals and the sound still comes off smooth so now i know its just my multi effect that does this. could anyone pls tell me wut my problem could be? and yes i know some of u r thinking, get a new pedal that isnt a cheapie... i do plan on it but for now id just like to fix this problem. thanks guys!

On my zoom B2 you can bypass the unit by pressing down both "up" and "down" patch selection bottom together.

I'm not sure how you can get to bypass mode on the B1 unit

yeah see if its showing up while you're in the "tuning mode." if it still shows up, i'd imagine its a problem with a jack or something, otherwise it could just be your settings.
